We will be closed to visiting yachts from Friday 26th to Sunday 28th June for a private event. The Beaulieu River will also be closed to visiting vessels one mile downstream of the marina.
Swinging moorings will be available near Gins Farm, but please note there will be no landing facility in the marina.

Seasonal River Hand

We are looking for a new Seasonal River Hand to join our friendly team for the summer season. You will be expected to perform a range of duties in order to assist the Deputy Harbour Master and permanent staff in the safe operation of the Beaulieu River including the Marina and Buckler’s Hard Boat Yard.

You will work in a safe and efficient manner, be flexible and customer focused and provide a friendly and welcoming environment when dealing with enquiries. The main focus of the role will be patrolling the river and collecting mooring fees from visiting boats. In addition, you will be responsible for re-fuelling vessels and assisting with berthing in the Marina, alongside maintaining the company’s boats. You will have a knowledge of boats and mooring operations and experience in cash handling and will need to have an RYA Level 2 Power Boat qualification.

You must have your own transport due to limited public transport being available in the area. A uniform will be provided. The hours will be variable and will include weekend working on a shift roster. The hours will be a minimum of 40 hours per week for this seasonal position which will commence from July 2026 and continue until the end of September 2026.
