Members of the Buckler’s Hard Yacht Harbour team attended The Yacht Harbour Association (TYHA) Marina of the Year Awards in Bournemouth on 25th April.

Harbour Master, Wendy Stowe, was presented with the Coastal Marina of the Year (under 250 berths) award by marine biologist and TV broadcaster Monty Halls and TYHA Chairman Simon Haigh.

The master of ceremonies, TYHA General Manager Jon White, congratulated the Buckler’s Hard Yacht Harbour team on the award, and remarked on the very beautiful and unique setting of the marina.

Deputy Harbour Master Adam Lewis, Harbour Master Wendy Stowe and Managing Director Russell Bowman proudly display the award.

The coveted accolade recognises the best of over 160 Gold Anchor accredited marinas around the globe, with boaters voting for their favourite marina delivering excellent facilities and services.

Residents and visitors to the marina can see the beautiful cut glass award and certificate proudly on display in the Harbour Office.
