Cheers from the Boatyard Bar

13th Jun 2024
Beaulieu River > River News > Facilities > Cheers from the Boatyard Bar

It’s Round the Island 2024 weekend, and The Boatyard Bar would like to wish all berth holders competing, including RAMBLE ON (IRC 3C), SLINKY MALINKI (Multihull), SPEEDWELL (ISCRS 7D) and VIXEN (ISCRS 4B) good luck and fair winds!

Well be here to celebrate your return and share your adventures, so to get the weekend party started this Friday 14th the Boatyard Bar will be hosting Tim Young, Singer and Acoustic Guitarist playing a selection of chilled-out cover versions from across the decades, and a few upbeat sing-along tracks!

In addition to our usual favourites, we’re looking to mix up the wine list for the month of June.

Picpoul de Pinet, Cave de L’Ormarine, Languedoc-Roussillon.
This wonderful, refreshing White is made from a selection of the oldest and finest vines. Often hailed as the “Muscadet of the South”. Its upbeat freshness and straw colour is perfect for Summer Drinking. Vibrant and packed full of character!

And keep an eye out for other new wines as they land…

We are also adding:
From the Vibrant Forest Brewery, Hardley.
Summerlands, a delightful Session IPA 3.4%. With bags of IPA goodness without
being too full of Citrus.

Also from a local couple based in Exbury, Highball Cocktails.
A range of delicious, natural, Alcohol-Free cocktails.
Why not try a Classic G&T or a Margarita, with all the trimmings.

Open, every Thursday, Friday and Saturday from 4PM till Sundown for the Summer Season.

With something in the cellar we’re sure to suit you all – come rain or shine!

Don’t hesitate to ask what else we might have tucked away in the cellar, as not all the wines and beers can be featured on the drinks menu!

Sue & Steve.
